A mezzogiorno in punto<\/span><\/p>\n

A chess board, since the black and the white squares share their borders, represents a shared existence that has always generated a sense of equilibrium.<\/p>\n

Who has ever wished upon their children, the heirs of their whole generation, a world of war and destruction?<\/p>\n

Una scacchiera, perch\u00e9 il bianco e il nero condividano i loro confini, per una convivenza che da sempre genera equilibrio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chi mai desidererebbe per i propri figli, e per gli eredi della propria generazione, un mondo di guerra e distruzione?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am deeply convinced that Art and Culture \u2013 with a capital A, a capital C \u2013 are of fundamental importance to the human race because they speak a thousand languages through a single one. Real Art has no ethnic origin but speaks of each of those tiny dots, invisible from the far reaches of the universe, which are each of us humans on this Earth.<\/p>\n

Sono profondamente convinta del fatto che la Cultura e l\u2019Arte, quelle con le lettere maiuscole, siano fondamentali per il genere umano proprio perch\u00e9 sono capaci di parlare mille lingue e una lingua sola. La vera Arte non ha un\u2019origine etnica, parla di tutti quei puntini minuscoli – noi esseri umani – che dall\u2019universo neanche si vedono.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is no wonder that the great Art and Literature of the world have been and continue to be transmitted, experienced and assimilated by every culture on earth, as has been the case throughout every period of history.<\/p>\n

Whether the mama losing her son in a war is Russian or Ukrainian, the wail of their grief is the same..<\/p>\n

We are all made of the same stardust, we humans who now call ourselves with a host of different names according to our various cultures, as were the trees, lynxes, cockroaches, rocks and amoebas. We are all embryos of a common womb. But memories are hard to hold on to and we soon forgot our origins.<\/p>\n

Non \u00e8 un caso che la grande Arte e letteratura mondiale vengano diffuse, vissute e assimilate da tutte le culture del mondo, in ogni epoca.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Se una mamma russa e una mamma ucraina perdono un figlio durante la guerra, il loro pianto urla le stesse grida.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eravamo tutti compressi all\u2019interno delle stelle, noi esseri umani che ora ci chiamiamo con diversi nomi a seconda della nostra cultura, ma anche gli alberi, le linci, gli scarafaggi, le rocce, i protozoi. Siamo tutti embrioni nello stesso utero. Ma la memoria \u00e8 difficile da trattenere, e presto ce ne siamo dimenticati.<\/span><\/p>\n

I remain firm in my conviction that we can generate Peace day after day through even the smallest of our gestures. And I am deeply convinced of our role as actors in the realm of Culture. Thus does each day represent a tessera, a puzzle piece, in a vaster project which will involve various aspects of my work, which has always been focused on themes steeped in these meanings.<\/p>\n

While some may choose to simply stand back and look at my work, but I encourage my audience to act, to share, if any of these concepts resonate with their own spirit.<\/p>\n

Rimango pienamente convinta che la Pace possa essere generata giorno dopo giorno in piccoli gesti. E rimango profondamente convinta del nostro ruolo di attori nel mondo della Cultura. Ecco quindi ogni giorno un tassello di un grande progetto che vedr\u00e0 coinvolti diversi aspetti del mio lavoro, da sempre incentrato su tematiche vicine a questa semanticamente.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chi lo vorr\u00e0 potr\u00e0 semplicemente guardare, ma invito tutti a fare, condividere, se alcuni concetti risuonano nel proprio spirito.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project will be constructed the same way peace is: one day at a time, day after day.<\/p>\n

We are each just a drop in the ocean, but it is of such drops the Universe is made.<\/p>\n

Siamo gocce, ma di gocce \u00e8 composto l\u2019Universo.<\/span><\/p>\n
